I have been playing the wonderful instrument for nine years. I owe it all to my brother, Albert, and my music teacher, Mr. Billowitz. When I was introduced to music, I was offered any insturment, but because of the talent that already exists in my family with this instrument, I had begun to learn it. I enjoyed most when playing was being apart of Tottenville High School Marching Band . We would perform field shows, which by the way was the best part, in parades, such as being apart of the Yankee World Series Parade, school activities, which were not very fun. However, the best memories are of performing in Epcot and Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, (the 26 hour bus ride each way was definitely worth it!). We would have "park hopper passes" which allowed about 80 kids to run around each park Disney World had to offer for three days straight!! It was so fun!!
Now I attend Oneonta State University and I am apart of the Brass Ensasmble and Concert Band. It is educational, but doesn't compare to the memories I have left behind.
